I'm not sure why I had to do all the legwork to find out where my word recall and cognitive decline was coming from given the fact that I have 7 doctors, but after eliminating 3 possible causes I'm nearly certain it's my antidepressant. We start weaning me off this week. 🤞

Books. I'm still supposed to promote these, they tell me. I don't even get paid a royalty check until my royalties accrue to $25. And that hasn't happened for nearly a year. Which isn't great for making me want to write anymore. But onward we go. 🎻 Such a small violin.

Had a great weekend away, taking my oldest to DC for his internship with my friend. Strangely enough, when I got home all my problems were there waiting for me. With the new addition of missing my son. Going to be a long night worrying about tomorrow morning.

I'm DC repping the Bills! Lots of people cheering us on here. Check out this row house near me ready for the game! Had to get pics of their flag and a selfie with it as well!

Just got off the phone with the woman that does buying for my libraries. As a smaller lib. they only have the budget to buy bestsellers on ebook and audio for overdrive. Not sure what to do with that info. They're being pushed to use AI tools to help patrons like w/ writing resumes. Uphill battle.
I hope libraries and librarians everywhere riot over this. What an insane attack on authors, transparency, and human creativity.
