Can you imagine the uproar if say, Uruguay just stole the bodies of the British Royal family from the bottom of the cathedrals and just had them out in the open of museums for tour groups to look at? They'd have a fit! Put them back in their chosen resting place, that feels like the bare minimum!

I don't know if this is common knowledge, and im slow, but there are still Egyptian mummified corpses in museums! Like, cool, you want to learn about ancient Egypt, but at this point, you learned all you are going to find out already, put them back! WTF!?

I feel like modern rappers have a different relationship to the beat than the rappers of the 90s/00s. I feel like today's rappers have a beat to set a vibe rather than a rhythm to rap to.

First time reading Dracula, not to victim blame, but Harker was stupid. Even if you think everyone is superstitious, if a woman begs you not to go and, people pity you and do blessings. Don't go! They know something you don't. If it's violent behavior or vampirism, you don't need to find out!

I don't think our attention span is bad. I think in an economy where our attention is the currency, we are able to identify in seconds if it's worth watching. When novelty or just better quality videos/photos/content is just a scroll away, why would we stick with boring media?

Attention! The hairstyle where you gather all your hair to the back of your head with a single elastic will, hereby, be called a bunny tail or a cloud. No other names will be acknowledged. Thank you.

Does anyone else get nervous if you like a video but don't watch the last few seconds of their goodbyes, like what if they randomly threw in a "Hail Hitler" or killed a puppy at the end and you have liked the post without ever knowing. Hasn't happened yet but there is a non zero chance...

Vision impairment is a disability, contacts/glasses are disability aids. But it is so integrated into our life/society, it isn't seen as abnormal or other. What would the world look like if we treated other impairments the same way.

What are they doing to the chik-fil-a and trader joe workers? Because I know they aren't paid enough to naturally be that happy. Are there drugs in the breakroom or is it a be happy or else you're fired situation?

I like to think of myself as liberal and openminded, but I am not immune to the culture I was raised in. I have many shitty biases. I am so glad that I am in a time where so many perspectives can be shared and so many people are willing to speak out. And I'll keep learning how to be a better person

Why do children/teen's books never show trustworthy adults. I know the stories are about the kids and coming of age and adventure, but why do adults have to be written as the antithesis of growth rather than helping hands?

It is interesting how childproof everything is. When I was growing up, there was just a clear double standard regarding what kids were allowed to say and do vs. adults. I don't think one is better but it is interesting.

Was going to order sushi on Doordash for 3 people. It was $71. We called them and picked it up. It's 5 mins away. $41! $30 difference and the driver would be lucky to get $10. What the hell!?
