Of je zover wilt gaan om te zeggen dat het nu vijandig is of niet, steek je echt een kop in het zand als je denkt dat het niet een onaangenaam realistisch scenario is binnen de komende 3 jaar. En het wordt niet netjes 3 maand vooraf aangekondigd als het tot een conflict komt.

The logic is basically: “If 80% of the population buys stolen stuff, stealing is a legitimate business model and people shouldn’t whine if you have to steal for your boss, buy stolen stuff for your boss or get stolen from in the first place.”

I’m not against UBI btw, but it just solves a problem with means testing. It’s not a solution for a large portion of the population becoming irrelevant wrt the economy.

UBI doesn’t fix the deeper issues of ownership and power. If we don’t fix that, 200% of your UBI will go towards your landlord/mortgage and thus you’ll still end up on the streets without a job.

I like automation myself. But 1) it needs to actually work and do something useful, and 2) it needs to NOT HAVE THOSE EXTERNALITIES and not be wholly owned and pushed by con men.
