Since the Future Ruins festival was cancelled in L.A., we decided to use use the extra day to attend a taping of The Price is Right. Neither of us were called to come on down, but it was a great time. Hoping to spend some more time in L.A. soon to visit friends and loved ones.

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.
Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

It's so weird that Mike Johnson and the rest of the Rupli-klan mafia can only reference a one hit wonder where that hit is over 40 years old. Yeah, that will excite those young'un fans. I'm not positively certain that Lee Greenwood would survive an entire halftime set at the Super Bowl.

1. Transphobia is always evil. Talking about "this is where it leads" always dismisses where it starts. 2. I'm reminded of the cis woman boxer at the olympics was called a "man beating a woman" and my sister wrote to me and was like, "I'm fine with trans people but this shouldn't be happening."
This is the inevitable outcome of transphobic ideology. It harms cis people as well as trans if you don't fit a stereotype. If you don't look or act a specific way conjured up in the minds of the gender critical brigade you are, what they consider, a fair target.

Our Valentine's dinner plans were derailed by both of us getting super sick, so we're both quarantined for a bit. But I didn't want to let the day pass without saying how grateful I am to have @ecrossman.bsky.social in my life. I'm so fortunate for this love and connection. He is amazing.

I had only seen this movie once before.30ish years ago.The scene that has stuck with me from it since then was wonderful to experience watching again.If you are adventurous,I think it’s magnificent in its own unique way.
