Cool! I’d be shocked if they got everything perfect right off the bat (though maybe I’ve just grown to expect Halifax to fuck it up), but either way it’s gotta be a huge improvement for Saint John. Let me know what you think when you check it out

It’s made a noticeable difference to rivers! But ground water and wells are not going to fill up as fast.

The big deal about this happening on Main Street is that it helps reconnect two sides of the city that are separated by a highway that runs right through the middle of town.

The wording in this development agreement makes it sound like Polycorp has at least 4 more years to finish this building (The Aria at Long Lake) that’s been under construction in Long Lake Village since 2012ish

I think it’s an artifact from when some streets in this area were rerouted slightly for the building of the Long Lake Village neighbourhood. If you’re walking or cycling you can get to Penny Ave from Cowie Hill Rd using a small (mostly gravel) trail.
