When not having to wade through a swamp of AI art, seeing beautiful fanart for books on my feed will sometimes be the hook to get me to read those books, especially romance/romantasy 😂

Can someone explain why ACOTAR and ToG are so popular? Honest Q. I've read them and the Crescent City series and other romantasy and they're fine but don't quite get the hype... I also haven't read any romantasy that I love but maybe I haven't read enough to compare...

AI artwork has totally ruined fanart. My searches and timelines are full of generic, weird/off-putting renditions of characters for so many books or other things 🤢 And it makes it so hard to find real art buried under all the yuck.

Currently playing that fun game of "Am I sick or it's just bad allergies" Got a killer sinus headache and my while face hurts I can't sleep. But no one else is sick and it's fall...so it's gotta be allergies right? Right?!

I just cant... Yes a life lost is tragic but...Where was this coverage for Rep. Melissa Hartman and her husband when they were killed? Or the school shooting in Colorado today and in years past (sadly it's so common now it's just another day)? What about innocent people dying in Gaza and elsewhere?

I really hate how I can't trust what's on Etsy. Feels like half or maybe more products are based on stolen art, intentionally or not. A lot of people think they're "buying rights" to sell stuff but the art is stolen and you cant just buy rights from 3rd parties for major things...

Really not feeling very patriotic today with the terrible news and what we've descended into because people suck. Normally I love wearing red but feeling so down that I might go for the blue. But....maybe the red is still good for the rage.

I maybe should've bought the new Samsung earbuds pro 3 when it was on sale a few weeks ago 😫 I keep misplacing my OG earbuds and there's no tracker... I'm dyiiiiinng without my audiobooks. I don't know how to be productive without my books now lolol. 4 years ago I didnt care for audiobooks 🤪

Ughhh just found out they switch narrators up in a series I just started. I know sometimes it's for the better or it's not really that big a difference. But this one I'm not a fan of. I'm not sure I can listen to the rest. It's not bad per se, I just don't like the switch

Since starting workout journey July 2024 today I made it to 6 straight days hitting all 3 targets: 9k steps (yes I know it's not that great) + 90min activity + 500cal (not sure how accurate the cal count is tho). Before it was like maybe 3-4 days straight at most.

I'm generally a 1 book at a time reader esp since I usually try to read as nonstop as possible and finish books asap. Always been amazed by people who could read multiple books like they're watching multiple TV series)... But I'm now reading 2 books and listening to 2 others 🤯 What is happening???

I was never into romance novels. I liked mystery, suspense, some scifi/fantasy, etc. Romance in those genres is great but Romance by itself - no thank you. But last year I read Emily Henry's Funny Story and actually really enjoyed it. And I'm now reading a 2nd Emily Henry book. Who am I?

Aaaarghhhhhh they're closing all Joann's in Sac except Roseville. F* Amazon, and especially F* Hobby Lobby, Walmart, shein and those other companies. I'm so incredibly angry and sad right now. I admittedly don't go to JoAnn as frequently as before but I just haven't been doing crafts at all.

Not vegan but I love the Hot & Sour soup and Thai fried rice from Loving Hut. But since it's vegan neither has egg and it's a little weird to be eating those without eggs. Normally I'd fry up some egg to add into fried rice but with egg prices/availability had to skip 🫤

I'm feeling the most bahumbug ever. We're so behind on holiday stuff... I've kind of given up on the rest of decorations. It doesn't even feel like we're prepping for Christmas - just some big stressful event on top of crazy work and other things. If not for the girls I feel like I might not care
