Why are so many democrat pundits espousing the following line: many people are looking for what the democrats have to offer, but they feel that the American culture is moving too fast for them so they don’t change? 99.9% pundits air quote “culture”. Why is culture change problematic?

Beautiful story!
A doctor has been serving one of Baltimore’s poorest neighborhoods for decades — and if his patients can’t pay, that’s OK with him.

So when he was diagnosed with cancer, his community rallied to raise $100,000 for his treatments.
For decades, a doctor refused to charge patients who couldn't pay. When he couldn't pay, his patients came to his aid.
When Dr. Michael Zollicoffer was diagnosed with two types of cancer, his patients started a crowdfunding campaign that raised more than $100,000.

There are so many misconceptions about the way Dr. King and Muhammad Ali spoke about equality. In 2025, please reread or read their written word, or rewatch or watch videos of these men. Remove the blinders and comprehend their words. Knowledge is power, become more powerful.

Today, responding to a post of an individual who was being passive aggressive he blocked the replies. He immediately thought the replies were from a troll, who posts to cause chaos. He then said no one had ever replied as such. In the honor of Fannie Hamer & Ann Atwater - quiet doesn’t work.

I want people to stop pretending that the far right parents are mad at educational policy. It is pretty clear that they are pissed that they spent thousands of dollars for private schools and tutors and their children are not doing great in college. College is hard for everyone. Period.

"Before it was The Apollo, it was a whites-only burlesque theatre. In 1934, under new ownership and a new name, it opened its doors to everyone..."

Such an interesting watch; the story of The Apollo and the story of America are intertwined. Here's to many more years!

The title is also wild because I would never take that away as the thesis of the article. Real, "rich people see how they're talking about your babies!" when the article is about so much more.

"...the records feed suspicions that colleges have different standards for children of means."

A lot of thoughts but I'll note that most people probably have no real conception of just how much a family needs to make, and the size and consistency of gifts, to get these preferences.

The true nature of people is self-preservation. However, there are more people of color whom believe that their self-preservation resides in their humanitarian actions, nonetheless, others believe their self-preservation forces them to behave inhumanly in order to maintain their superiority. Interesting historical observation-robber barons left European countries to claim ownership of a country that existed and thrived because of its natives. Yet centuries later nothing has changed because robber barons are continuously fleecing a country and calling it democracy. Same lie, same players

Counterpoint - when and how are more white American leaders going to do the challenging work to address the bigotry that fuels MAGA, especially among white voters who lack college education? Why do so many people continue to expect Black Americans to carry this burden?
