So much fun being in the band for Christmas At The Bowl in New Plymouth last night. Over 10,000 people joining together to celebrate together on a warm summery evening. 100s of volunteers, 1000s of hours, and it finally feels like Christmas.

The question for me is that after baking my xmas cake in November, will it last until Christmas (with delicious brandy butter cream icing), or will I need to bake another one?

I'm one of the 555 people that reported a positive covid test to authorities yesterday in NZ. Still going around people. And this version started as conjunctivitis.

Shout out to all my fellow election day workers. Many of us worked a 15-hour shift yesterday to uphold NZ's democratic systems because our citizens' right to vote in a free and fair election should never be taken for granted in this world. My body aches all over today. Back to normal job tomorrow.
