I believe in a better world.
Where people are put before money.
Where we think about the legacy for the next generation
Not the next election.
We are not all born equal,
But we, all things being equal, doors should be opened
Not minds closed.
The real problem with inflation isn't government deficits (when they are used to invest in infrastructure and growth, rather than tax reductions for the already-wealthy) it is the growth of private credit.

Sounds counter-intuitive, but there's a reason why: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJ2p...

Someone explained it as

"Company A pays Company B to dig a hole, Company C to manage it, and Company D to supply the spades.

Company B pays Company A to fill in the hole.

GDP goes up, but nothing gets achieved."

This is what a 2p marginal tax rate impact would be on an median UK salary (or 3x the State Pension) of £36,000

Blackstone is in for regular "consultations" (along with McKinsey & others). That's why they've expanded the Freeports like this one in Hampshire: www.gov.uk/government/p...

Honestly, this was the only poll where I was surprised - that the percentage of Green voting intention of the viewers in the first group was so high (refugees from Labour, perhaps?):

PS the male/female split that preceded it was also fascinating

In the meantime we would have cleaner air and less lung disease.

Not that Farage seems to worry about that.

I missed one of the biggest factors: belief that their policies were realistic.

Shows that Republicans are increasingly living in a fantasy world of their own creation.

When billionaires fund campaigns against Tax Wealth not Work,
do they really work this many times as hard as a Nurse or a Doctor?

Excludes National Insurance, but remember that there is no NI above the Upper Earnings Limit, and no NI on rental income or share dividends.

A visual reminder of the difference between:
* your £50,000 salary
* the salary + dividends of a FTSE CEO (or Farage's income from his 12 jobs)
* the wealth of a Billionaire

On the bright side, The Green Party are doing well under Zack Polanski with the Under 55 age groups:

New poll from @findoutnow.bsky.social (sadly not posting on Blue atm) shows that the Greens are ahead in the under 40s age group and 1 point from overtaking the Cons & Lib Dems for 3rd place in the 40-54 age group.

Now needs get those groups to register, and turn out to vote.

Not as far as I can see, but this from 2015 may explain his promoting private health care (& dislike of immigrant doctors):

"20 hours - This number is an estimate" for X Corp of San Francisco one of many entries on the Register. (Most of which he still hasn't got around to updating - despite being informed he's in breach of the rules back in July).
