Don’t forget the move to take foreign military sales away from the policy shop and turn it basically into a volume/profit game.

At 2 1/2 my oldest announced “I will pee on the potty when i’m 3.” And that was that. Had no room for negotiating, rewards, nothing. Wasn’t doing. Morning of third birthday? Straight to the potty and never looked back.

I moderate a parents group at a university and we have in the past seen issues where plans thru nelnet got out of synch by like a month because of competing cutoffs between nelnet for receiving payment and then the university cutoff for the invoice cycle.

Colin Farrell recorded A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man for Audible. It’s a great reading that has actually helped me almost understand Joyce. But also if you step back and abandon hope of comprehension, Colin Farrell reading your bedtime story is not to be underestimated.

Signed up for a half marathon with estimated time of 2 hours. Drank too much wine and then the next day called to change to full marathon. They forgot to adjust the estimated time and I had a seeded bib. (Ran a 5 hour marathon)

Rogue One has been my favorite Star Wars
movie since it was released. Andor is just fantastic. Turns out, you don’t need “oh look a force ghost” or a bunch of stupid retconning to tell an important story in that universe!

A teacher did this with our teenager last year (not to the review board extent) and when my kid pushed back, suddenly the teacher ran the essay through a *different* AI tool and “good news, no use of AI detected!” *sigh*
