Holy shit, just learned about the typewriter art of Montserrat Alberich Escardívol, a Catalan typist. Using an extra wide typewriter and 180 color ribbons, she built up elaborate images from simple characters like 'm' and '.' and ';'. Here is her typewritten painting of the Cathedral of Barcelona.

*sob* Why did my second day of PT leave me feeling so achy? Because I asked for it and no longer want to feel like I suddenly have 80 year old knees at 40something. I heard this was a thing after 40… that your body just up and quits and yells at you for unknown crimes of your 20s. Humbled.

Calmly reading on the couch when I hear a gag-cough-slurp sound behind me and sit up to see Java puking in a corner against the window curtains. As I get up, her body language indicates a move is at hand. People, I had to hold an 80lb dog in place while she puked. We are both traumatized.

Entry in “your customer service sucks:” 3 weeks ago I took a Costco eye exam RX to a place for sunglasses. Paid. Was told expect them in 3 wks. It’s 3 wks, so I call just to check in and am told there’s a note from the Optician on my record, and I will need to speak with *their* Optician.
