Right?

I think so? I am mostly one of those non-interact types. Probably why the ducky idea appeals. Say hi without actually…saying hi.

But overall, everyone here tends to have like a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon w/ each other. It’s very rare to meet someone and *not* have at least one mutual acquaintance.

When I drove the Z3 Coupe, most Roadster drivers would wave back when I waved. There was only one other coupe on island and that guy lived on the other side of the island, so we hardly saw each other.

Question, do 86/brz peeps have a thing like Jeep peeps do with their rubber duckies? Or do y’all just silently nod appreciatively at each other? I kind of like the rubber ducky idea as a community game/acknowledgment but haven’t really seen it with other cars.

Oh how interesting that it changes so much, but sad!

Still, I hope it is delicious!

So vibrant!

Yes, they honored the warranty. Paid nothing for shipment or the part. Just the cost of my own time to install, which also wasn’t significant. 15 min maybe?

All fixed! Hoorah!

Makes you really appreciate the old timers driving around the 90s and older Tacomas. Take good care, keep it simple, stock, and forever living.

The cybertruck design model. Uh huh. Yeah I never connected gamer mice to cybertrucks until now but it makes sense.

Those Logitech mice are made from something else.

This is the best use of time when Hawaiian Electric decides you don’t get power back yet.

I understand their new protocol, but it still sucks waiting. Hope it comes back before nightfall.

Neat. FedEx Priority Overnight shipping. It needs to catch *just the right planes* to truly overnight or 2nd day to Hawai’i. Am glad something on its way though, using kitchen faucet seems to be getting worse each use. Just an annoyance of a trickle to it’s going to run backwards down the spout now.

For “survival.”

Spent last hour trying to remember where I bought from, looking up parts and see if any local availability to solve this right away (no, none), registering the faucet with Kohler, so I could request replacement hose under warranty. Now waiting emails to confirm warranty part shipment to me.

I’ve been told by one IT guy whose office was in the server room “you don’t even hear it after a while” and it just told me everything I needed to know.

Long term, definitely.

Seriously.

Good calls all around today.

Oh I am so excited to see this!

Morning usual is oatmeal with dates, craisins, smidge of brown sugar, and peanut butter. If I have bananas, those go in, too. Sometimes apples with a little cinnamon. Oatmeal variations are endless, but peanut butter is a game changer.
