An opposition party doesn’t denounce tyrannical, masked government agents for shooting Americans and disappearing people off the street while voting to give those agents more money.

Time to share another Miss Machete Favorite:
Lifeforce (1985)

A space mission stumbles on a strange ship, and the figures on board get brought to Earth. Vampire-like aliens are unleashed on the world.

Energy zombies, naked ladies murdering, Sir Patrick Stewart is there.
Who else loves this movie?

This is the crux of the bargain white ppl made voting for trump & the gop. "Rid us of brown ppl & make white ppl the majority again & we will sacrifice our jobs, savings, homes, and even children." They 💯 factored in those losses & decided it was worth it. That's why nothing else he does matters

“The voices that matter most – trans young people, their families, the clinicians who work with them and trans health experts in Aotearoa – have been clear: access to puberty blockers is crucial.”

Young trans people need access to transition healthcare. We must listen to them, not to transphobes.
Puberty blockers: why politicians overriding doctors sets a dangerous precedent
The government’s ban on puberty blockers undermines clinical expertise and targets trans youth with a policy that lacks evidence, consistency and fairness.

Want to see who's funding your representatives Democrat or Republican? Check OpenSecrets.org. Look up pharma donations, insurance money, defense contracts. The data is public. Stop taking politicians' word for it. See for yourself who owns them, then decide if you're comfortable with that.

I’m still shocked that stories like this which come out daily still get largely ignored. The most corrupt person to ever hold any public office in US history. I will keep posting them every day and try to amplify them, even when most media doesn’t care. www.wsj.com/finance/curr...

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

The moral squalor of Trump has brought us back to the basics — especially understanding the importance of checks and balances and separation of powers.

Both the Republican-controlled Congress and conservative Supreme Court Seem hellbent on abdicating their duties to a tyrant.

And here in the afterlife he is cool as shit. Meeting for drinks at 3.

Our unaccountable Supreme Court gave our unaccountable president the power to effectively end the Department of Education.

And it did so without any explanation because the case came through its secretive shadow docket.

5 months into dismantling foreign aid programs the Trump administration has given the order to incinerate food instead of sending it to people abroad who need it. Nearly 500 metric tons of emergency food enough to feed about 1.5 million children for a week, gone

Judges are supposed to check unconstitutional executive action. That is literally the judiciary’s function under separation of powers. If we surrender that, we don’t have a republic anymore.

Federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars who refuse to show their faces will arrest you because of the color of your skin or even because you spoke out against Trump. And Republicans in Congress just boosted their funding. Call it what it is. It's fascism.
