Rocks and Crying. Have 'forced' my daughter to watch Steven Universe by being in the same room while watching it. By the end of Episode 3 she was fully invested, and we have binge-watched the first 5 seasons and 'The Movie' over the course of 4 days. About to start S6, the 'Future' episodes.

After being given 24/48hrs to live, she gifted us with an extra month to say goodbye.

[1] New Years Eve, our little girl went to the vet with what we assumed was intestinal obstruction. While we could not prove it, there were signs that she had been in one of the garbage cans. She had been lethargic and throwing up any food she took in. Turned out it was far worse.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of IRC #furry being actively held open 24/7 somewhere on the internet. Whether on efnet, yiffnet, dalnet, furnet or anthrochat. After today, I shall finally retire my IRC client. I will still be found here on Bluesky, on Discord, and on VRChat.

Apparently a bunch of reflexively and/or intentionally toxic people are complaining how effective the "block" function is here.
1. Good
2. There is a high correlation between people anxious about being blocked and people who deserve immediate, pitiless blocking
