A reminder that one sure-fire way to push back against the sea of hopelessness and horror is to find a cause you can contribute to with your time and/or resources, if that’s an option for you. Personally I find it’s most beneficial when it’s something hands-on and in my own neighborhood or city.

Maybe it’s a hard pill to swallow, but a lot of people joined Bluesky hoping to recreate the early Twitter moments. The thing is, we’re not the same people, living the same lives, or even tweeting about the same things anymore.
