If I were Carney, I'd show up, walk straight to press, say "I'm here for the Canadian people, not for games. We value friendship, but we won't tolerate disrespect. No negotiations under these conditions. Trump can call when he’s can be respectful." Then, I'd turn & leave. But I'm not Canadian polite

We all know how this goes. He nukes trade for profit, then "wins" by gluing the mess back together. His base eats it up. No changes—jobs stay gone, trade stays uneven. It's the only play he's got- wreck it all and pretend to fix it. Meanwhile, US suffers long term loss of credibility and standing.

Trump built his brand on bullying—and his base thinks that’s peak masculinity. They really believe the world will submit instead of finding a way forward without us. Most of us graduated from Jr. High. They’re still stuck in the locker room.

I've always liked Cory Booker, since he was mayor of Newark. He was actually my top choice in the 2020 primary. And, I'd still say my preferred ticket for 2028 at this point would be Booker/ Buttigieg.
