🤔 Ummm.... "meddling" is definitely the wrong word here. It's A COUP!
🗣 A COUP! A COUP! A COUP! Fix your language, call it what it is, and do something @schumer.senate.gov. 🤨

If the Treasury Secretary does not remove DOGE’s access to the Treasury payment systems at once:

Congress must immediately act.

That is why Rep. Jeffries and I will work together on legislation to stop unlawful meddling in the Treasury Department’s payment systems.

For all Trump's talk of manufacturing jobs, you didn't see the CEOs of GE and Caterpillar sitting in the prime seats today. You saw the CEOs of Amazon and X and Meta and Google and TikTok.

It's the attentional oligarchs whose power he cares about.

“Many Black farmers refer to USDA as being the last plantation, and the reason for that is, is that it really doesn’t change much from one administration to another, and in all cases, it’s not very good for Black folk," one farmer and former USDA employee told me.

Black farmers say systemic issues, particularly within the USDA, have remained largely unaddressed across multiple administrations. As President Biden's term ends, many worry there will be another four years of limited progress.

Goddesspeed & Solidarity from UConn. Props to the UW auditors for selecting “52” as the make-or-break no. of majors: arbitrary with a dash of idiosyncrasy.
The outside-auditors-that-shall-not-be-named decided any academic program w/fewer than 52 majors was "low enrolled", meaning nearly 1/3 of ALL of the programs in the WI system may be on the chopping block. This could be quite the bloodletting. #WI #highered #academicsky
