Crawled but currently not indexed 🚨

It's not always a problem; sometimes it's actually a goal.

In this case, it's a regional news website that also features articles from the previous decade that are no longer relevant to keep indexed. So Google naturally dropped them from the index.

Is this some new feature? I mean, I don't have a problem reading JSON, but most people yes 😅

I guess even Google sometimes needs a vacation for one day 😅 I see it across all sites #gsc

I found something surprising while auditing a site last month 🤯

Their cookie consent popup was adding 2.9 seconds to page load time.

The math is easy…

Every second of delay = 5% conversion loss

For a $1M e-commerce site = $150,000 lost revenue from that 3-second lag 📉

Your best-performing content is generating zero revenue.

Not because it's bad. Visitors just can't find your money pages from it.

Imagine a retail store having no signs to point to their bestselling items.

That’s what poor internal linking does to your high-converting pages.

Why are we still using full-page overlays with loading bars in 2025? 🤯

It's basically proof that the developer know almost nothing about SEO and web performance.

If you need a loading bar to fix something as a web developer, then something is clearly wrong.

I do website monitoring to all my clients. Guess whose sites went down for 12 hours unnoticed? 🤦‍♂️

Even I'm not immune to making stupid mistakes.

A few days ago, a small bug fix auto-update was performed on one of my servers where I host only personal websites and apps.

🔔 Quick test: Take your phone right now and try buying something from your own website. Painful, right?

When did you last check your website on mobile?

And do you know why your mobile conversions are significantly lower compared to desktop?

Google won't tell you this, but PageSpeed Insights scores and real-world performance often don't match 🤫

#PageSpeed Insights is an amazing tool that can give you quick and useful information about your website.

It even gives you a score for your website.

Your website loads slower than Netflix on dial-up, and you're wondering why nobody converts 😱

Do you remember how frustrating it is to wait for Netflix to load a movie when you're on a slow connection?

Now imagine your website visitors feel the same way.

The best freelancers aren't selling their time. They're investing in their clients' futures 🤫

When I decided to start freelancing last year, I wanted to be different.

Most freelancers are just service providers. After the service is delivered, everything ends.

Small tweaks on the checkout page can boost conversions by 10+% 📈

When you finally get a visitor to your website, it's terrible to let them leave right before the final step.

Focus on making your checkout page and your entire website as fast as possible.

GDPR accidentally created a new way to kill your website's conversions 🤦‍♂️

Years ago, GDPR in the EU brought a new problem to the world of web performance.

Cookie popups required by GDPR are often loaded as external JavaScript library.

The “modern“ web is actually more broken than it was 15 years ago 🤯

Over the last decade, we've had a significant problem across almost all websites on the internet.

The problem is JavaScript.

I'm not saying JavaScript alone is bad. It's actually an amazing helper.

How often do you encounter these annoying external activities that potentially drain your crawl budget?

I recently spotted this in one of my client's GSC.

If you ignore Core Web Vitals, you're ignoring your visitors and customers! 🙅‍♂️

#SEO isn't in first place when I work with #CoreWebVitals.

Why? Because they're mainly about #UserExperience.

Motivation should be about how actual visitors feel on your website.

When I tell people they can boost conversions by over 15% without spending a euro on ads. They think I'm crazy 🤯

That's the power of #TechnicalSEO.

Fixing indexation issues brings cash within the same month. Resolving #CoreWebVitals problems? It increases conversions the same day.

Remember thinking you'd never need to study again after high school or university? 😅

When I finished high school, I thought no more learning and could throw away all my books.

Over a decade later, I can just say I was completely wrong about my stupid teenage self.

There are plenty of factors that can transform mobile user experience, but one stands out: #pagespeed 🐌

Just like swiping on TikTok, we'll visit another website offering a similar product.

Google stats make it clear: over half of visitors abandon their visit if the loading time exceeds 3 seconds.

I just found 4 versions of each page on a client's website 🤦‍♂️

That trailing slash at the end of a URL might seem trivial.

But if you don't have your canonical tags set up correctly, it'll create tons of duplicate content.
