MORELLE: Would you suggest that the January 6 pardons would cover activities or crimes potentially committed outside of that?

BONDI: I don't know if you're referring to Joe Biden pardoning his son.

MORELLE: No. I'm actually referring to January 6.

BONDI: Do you mean the ones done by the autopen?

Attacking Iran fits with Trump’s desire to divert attention from his failures at home: his losses in the courts, his unpopular budget bill, millions of people protesting against his authoritarianism.

When he feels humiliated, he gets reckless.

Understand what's going on.

To the loser and suckers:🖖 we see you.
I keep thinking about our armed service members who are now in a war, led by a Commander-in-Chief who will consider them “losers and suckers” should they become injured or, God forbid, lose their lives in the time ahead.

The rest of us good Americans thank you for your service. Godspeed.

we're living through one of the greatest technological revolutions in the history of mankind and it's not AI
Solar + storage is now $104 per MWh in Las Vegas or similar regions for nearly 100% clean firm power. There is no way new nuclear can compete with this. Even new gas plants will struggle and that is assuming access to cheap gas over the life-cycle of the plant, which is kind of a crazy gamble TBH.
Batteries are so cheap now, solar power doesn’t sleep
Batteries are now cheap enough to make 24/7 solar power affordable, unlocking round-the-clock clean energy in the world’s sunniest cities.

I'm not enjoying the reboot of the "Unprovoked War in the Middle East" reality TV show.

It's just as pointless, but the actors are even stupider. And, frankly, I didn't think that would be possible.

And then...
Marco Rubio needs to be asked whether he believes his grandfather who remained in the U.S. after receiving a deportation order from our govt should have been treated the way the father of 3 Marines was treated by ICE this weekend in California.

ASK HIM. Make him confront his lack of character.
So video of this 2012 interview is popping up on other sites. Feels super relevant at the moment. Wait for the moment Rubio gets pinned to the wall about his grandfather’s deportation order…

They had lawyers, trials, most were given pretrial release, allowed to testify in their own defense, got discovery, could call witnesses, could cross-examine witnesses, could present mitigation at sentencing, and had a right to appeal.

The smart kids may be right. Maybe polls will show that the public likes Trump’s lawlessness.

But sometimes we do the right thing, because it is the right thing. And sometimes the Constitution is worth defending, even if it is unpopular.

It’s not theoretical. It’s not a future threat. It’s already here: a system of detention and deportation operating outside the law.
The ICE Man Cometh
Trump’s Gestapo is here. It operates throughout the country. It can suddenly arrest anyone, with no crime alleged, and deport them for permanent imprisonment overseas. Will anyone stop this?

The concentration of wealth in the hands of an elite few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, the American people don't have a voice.

The result? Demagoguery and corruption.
