Beatles. Tea. Zine.

In that order.

Huw. He/Him
Pinned
Its rather surreal to think I (and a cast of brilliant Beatle-people) made all these.

If we wont do another at least we can say we’ve done ok.
Tea looms large in their legend

What is the best compliment you ever received? Putting aside whether or not you believed it.

Manchester, 63. Never looks great in colour. Whats looks moody in b/w looks just bad-moody in grainy colour. Oh well. Suits my mood.

I’m not sure who need to hear it. There is nothing new in this but it’s a long time since I heard it put so eloquently 1/3

British recording studios of the early 60s, like the ones the Beatles used, didnt have tables. Though theyd heard that some American ones did.

Ok I removed Steve Race's voice over the best I could. There's not much past the 1:00 mark but at least the tea chat is clearer! drive.google.com/file/d/1Zu1-...

Fab bit of Teatling from the All You Need Is Love sessions. Mal comes in to offer teas (and perhaps an ashtray) but John already has a tea so he’s alright, thanks.

Anthology 4. Track 17. You telling me they couldnt scrub that hoofing man’s great hoofing voice so we can hear more clearly McLennon and LeCartney talking tea?! What a disgrace!

As we're in #Beatles #Anthology season, here's a piece of artwork depicting everyone's favourite talking head from the series - dear old Neil Aspinall.

This was drawn by Paul's partner, Lorraine, and some of you may have seen this as part of the wonderful @teatles.bsky.social 'Trumps' card game.

This is lovely obvs, but its interesting how at some point John got rid of the cheesy/Americanisms in his voice. A good voice-choice as ever
