Nearly done with the Toriyama Manga Theater collection of all his early minor works. Really heartening to see just how much he iterated on the same ideas and designs over the years -- Dragon Ball (and DBZ for that matter) did not emerge fully formed from nothing, but from hard work and repetition!

Spent all fucking day helping the one (1) mover get all our stuff into the apartment. They were supposed to come tomorrow (late) but showed up today out of the blue (still late). It was my one year HRT anniversary and I spent it in guy mode and we had to cancel our dinner reservation...

I'm a Guero appreciator. Also, I just picked up the 8bit remixes Ghettochip Malfunction EP on vinyl recently and it's still as fun as I remember it being in college back when 8bit remixes were still a novel concept

Going back thru drawings I made in 2017 - 18... man, I was absolutely cooking creatively, it's wild. Like, yes, my foundational chops have definitely improved compared to that time thanks to the art block struggle of the last few years, but damn, I really had the fuckin juice back then. Inspiring
