replies felt weirdly discouraged on twitter (at least to me) but I really recommend getting back into the habit of telling artists directly when you like their stuff. not even in an engagement farming way, it just feels nice. nobody's day is going to be worse hearing that you like their work

Networking is terrifying. I'm glad I managed to spend a day at EGX and get a portfolio review without having a full-blown anxiety attack, but it still nerfed me so much ;-; I need to find better ways to connect with other artists and industry folk

Hell yes found an owl. Every time I go out I look for them, I hear them taunting me in the distance, this is only the second time I’ve found one. To give them credit when I do find them they always pose so nice for me. #photography
