I've SO enjoyed the time with this book on the history and evolution of Kannada script. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Will you believe me if I say it was thrilling?

8) N is 7 now and this is what she wrote in a school worksheet. 💕 The switch from finding a kindred spirit in a character to understanding the creator's role in shaping the character and her world is so heartening. She's growing up!

4) When N was 5, she made a list of questions to ask Kes Gray. (I was her scribe for a few months when her hand couldn't keep up with the speed of her mind.)

1) I've read Kes Gray's Daisy to more children than I can keep track of, but Daisy is really little N's soulmate.

2) Although I am acutely aware of the crucial role my patience plays in their learning journeys, on some days, finding it within me is difficult.

This is what I use on such days to remind and ground myself so I don't repeat the mistakes that led the child to me.
