I'm just wondering how I'm going to face the Ukrainian refugee in my class on Monday. 🙃 Add another page to the dystopia novel that is my journal.

I went to my first Queer Straight Alliance meeting at the school I teach at. The teacher was comforting their students and explaining what was legally happening to them.

I was invited to introduce myself, and I saw several light up as I said, "I use they/them pronouns because I am nonbinary" 🏳️‍🌈

To all the people who stop and think before meeting up with a chronically ill or disabled person, and let them know you/someone in your household isn’t feeling well, so they can cancel if they need to, THANK YOU.

We are SO sad to have to cancel, but so grateful to be protected. #disabilitysky

I remind myself every day that simply getting out of bed and going to my job of teaching children is an act of resistance as a disabled trans person 🏳️‍⚧️

I have been revisiting my old writing from undergrad and I think I have a short story collection on my hands 👀📚 #booksky #writersky

When wilt thou save the people?
O God of mercy when?
The people, Lord! The people!
Not thrones and crowns
But men!

Just found the digital copies of my first two original scripts from 2013 and 2015. Maybe it's time to rework some of this... 📚

Reading is political.

Reading has always been political.

Your favorite characters wouldn’t just sit by and watch. They’d get up and burn some shit to the ground.

I'm about halfway through Jami Lin Nakamura's "Night Parade" And it's one of the most fascinating #memoirs I've picked up yet. What kind of memoir writes in 2nd person? A speculative one, apparently! Give it a try #booksky
