Yeah, one of the nice things about this boycott is that it’s such a limited timeframe that you can simply avoid Amazon for a week and buy anything that you can’t find anywhere else the next week if need be.

Lowes isn’t part of the boycott, so using Lowes as your go-to for that week should be fine!

Another trick is to just look for the item you want on Amazon and then type it into google shopping and you’ll be able to see if it’s available elsewhere. Since this is a very time-limited boycott, if you REALLY can’t find your item anywhere else, just wait till the week after.

Costco is a GREAT one. Kohl’s is a good choice for clothes and some housewares. Best Buy for electronics. Bookshop.org for books. Trader Joe’s or your local grocery chain instead of Whole Foods.

The thing about this particular boycott is that it’s for a very short period of time so you can just catch up on your TV the next week!

In general, a Costco subscription instead of Amazon Prime is a good alternative.

When you need something fast: delivery services like Shipt and Instacart do same day delivery from a wide variety of stores, like Costco, grocery stores, pharmacies, and more.

For electronics, Costco is good! Also Best Buy, which is generally where I’ve bought most of my electronics.

Boycotts can be overwhelming if you’re not certain what your alternatives are! Even for a time-based one like this!

No yeah that’s awful! I’m so sorry!

Oh uggggh. Yeah, I’ve been on mostly the same meds since I got out of the MH unit at the hospital in 2024 and saw my PNP every two months for the first year until I got my sleep meds sorted out (because my antipsychotic was giving me insomnia).

Yeah, I see my psychiatrist once every 3 months, and that’s fairly standard for folks who need medication management?

They explain how the witch got green, how she got her hat, her cape, her broom, how the monkeys got wings, how the lion become scared of things, and the sequel will cover how people became the tin man and scarecrow, but they never once explain why she's called Ariana Grande when she isn't very big

You have one hard thing to do and one small person who will eat the entire tube of chapstick when you aren’t looking
