One of my students died in an accident this weekend. He was a great person. A talented football player and a leader bound for greatness. I'm glad to have known him, and I'm heartbroken for his family, his teammates, and his friends. Holding them all in the light.

Oh, Jimmy Carter. What a beautiful human. I grew up Mormon, in a very Republican environment, where I was taught to dislike Jimmy Carter. Then I grew up and learned about his truly Christian, truly loving, truly inspirational commitment to his fellow humans. Thank you, President Carter.

Just walked past the retaining wall of a church on a busy #Pittsburgh sidewalk and saw a whole bunch of individually wrapped meals and cutlery sets set out for anyone to take. No one around to hand them out. Nothing to sign or pay. Just kindness. This is good.
