I know it’s been worn by others, but it’s still cool to see Andre 3000 on the red carpet tonight for OutKast’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction rocking the iconic Nike Air Trainer 1s that John McEnroe introduced back in 1986 and that Andre Agassi also wore during his breakthrough 1988 season.

RIP Mel Bridgman, original Ottawa Senators GM and by all accounts a very well liked teammate and colleague.

This hockey card though always terrified me as a child.

I often think of this as 1990s music’s « baby Hitler » moment.

There was a house for sale not long ago that I thought had the most deranged bathroom reno I’d ever seen—so it’s no real surprise that Trump’s brain would come up with something similar.

Speaking of which, Google AI results are as useful as ever. Because of the 1989 discourse I was doing a quick search for people’s opinions on the worst albums of that year, and this is what showed up at the top of the page:

Seeing John Dickerson’s announcement just now that he’s leaving CBS at the end of the year, it’s not hard to believe that this was the product of the new, ahem, management.
