Happy Valentine’s Day, after Loving v. Virginia, Mildred and Richard remained married until 1975 when Richard was killed tragically in a car accident & Mildred lost her eye. Mildred died in 2008. Because of them my marriage is legal 2/2 #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackSky #HappyValentinesDay

The number one thing we can all do to fight tyranny is stop assuming money = intelligence, worth, or entitlement to an opinion anymore than anyone else has. I am so sick of hearing rich people takes on what to do about this situation as if their cronies aren’t directly responsible. #RespectfullySTFU

Today we honor Claudette Colvin, the first woman not to give up her bus seat. Claudette was a dark skinned, teenager when she refused to give up her seat on the bus. Rosa Parks was chosen to repeat this in part because optically she was more “sympathetic”and “less objectionable” #blackhistorymonth
