We should not forget that Cuomo’s presence in the race at all was, from the beginning, the Democrat establishment’s attempt to torpedo Mamdani. His victory actually helps them more than they’ll ever admit. But we should remember their duplicitousness.

I’ve heard Mamdani give versions of this line before but it’s worth repeating that his winning strategy was talking to actual human beings who might vote for him, versus some mythical voter democrats are trying to swing from the right who does not exist.
