Heading into capitalism’s profit season- Reminder Black Friday sales don’t exist. Things cost exactly how much companies want and they’ve been calculating this all year. Gifting doesn’t need to fall in the cheap-garbage consumerism scale. Buy experiences, memories and meaningful things 🤍

My husband @robertcooper-us.bsky.social and I were the FIRST gay couple to adopt children in this country. We adopted our first baby back in 1985, and eventually adopted five in all. Here’s a pic of our two oldest kids meeting their younger brother for the first time. We later adopted twin girls! ❤️

I understand we all want change but it’s important to keep in mind that activism comes in many forms. Small actions are valid. Not everyone can commit to certain degrees and THAT 👏 IS 👏 OKAY 👏 don’t beat yourself up because you feel like you can’t do as much as others.
