This is an astounding over-valuation. About 35 times its last profit… You only pay that if you look at media ownership as something the main benefit of which is not to be found in a pure profit calculation. ~AA

I saw Danny Glover at a SF gas station at 6am. He was pumping gas wearing a bathrobe, and I was staring because I wasn't completely sure it was him. He grumpily asked "can I help you?" and I said "I'm sorry, but you look just like Danny Glover." He said "there's a reason for that" and drove away.

the throwing up part was profoundly uncool, like what kind of freak does something like that.
but i was very moved by the kindness and after the concert went backstage to say thank you very much, which turned into partying with the band (primal scream) until i had to catch the last bus home.

i'm so uncool that i threw up on my celeb hero at age 18 before a concert. not because i was drunk or anything like that, i was just so excited that i threw up at the guy's snakeskin boots. he was very nice about it and changed the set list to play my favourite song and dedicated it to me.

I mean, that was a pretty much universal book back then that ended up clogging the shelves at second hand book stores. And Dan brown is a generic white guy. It’s possible it wasn’t him just some dude that didn’t want his copy back.

whats your uncool celeb story one time I was at an event got pretty drunk then met (I think it was the bassist) someone from Red Hot Chili Peppers & I remember telling him "you guys should name your tour plane Music so you can tell everyone Music is your aeroplane", look it had to be said
