This is going to put a lot of mainline pastors in a terrible position with increasingly polarized congregations wanting them to endorse. They were already beyond stressed.
Even though this seems like a pro-church move this will end up hurting many churches and further Christian divisions.

Am I doing my math right? If I have a 200K house in the GSD my tax bill is $1391, but in the USD it would be $1407? So for $16 more a year you get trash, street lights, and sidewalks?
