I found actual Spanish language series too hard when I was a beginner but animated series dubbed in Spanish helped me a lot.

I've used Duolingo a lot in the past and it's alright for learning a bit of vocab (and at one point they added some grammar that you can access on the webpage version) but, no, you're not going to reach conversational fluency with it alone
