FANTASTIC conversation with @melodyoliphant.bsky.social of the @georgiayouthco.bsky.social and how the wild election results two weeks ago looked from the ground. First state level win for Dems in GA since 2006!

Leaving Georgia out of the story of last night is a mistake. Young people in this state are building a movement that’s already delivering historic victories - and we’re not done. We’re coming for that governor’s seat.
Last night’s story in Georgia is a story about voters reclaiming our power. GYJC knocked on 132,491 doors to educate folks on the Public Service Commission race.

In Fayette, Houston, & Paulding County–communities long written off as unwinnable–GYJC showed up and changed what’s possible in Georgia.
Mike Johnson: "What happened last night is blue states and blue cities voted blue. We all saw that coming. And no one should read too much into last night's election results."

Here’s what many folks can’t tell you today because the NY Times and the Associated Press didn’t even cover our election results last night: 22 counties that voted for Donald Trump in 2024 just voted for Alicia Johnson last night.

If your 2025 election night commentary ignores Georgia, you’re doing it wrong. I’m so proud of the work my amazing team did this cycle to help educate and empower voters across the state

Trivia host just said Weezer blue album came out in 95. Deeply embarrassing that he’s wrong and more embarrassing that I know it

a point I make over and over re: climate change is that there’s no point at which it’s time to throw up your hands and give up, because each tenth of a degree you can prevent is worth it

2C is better than 2.1C is better than 2.2C and so on and so forth

Forgot to post here cause I’m very silly but I'm super excited to announce that I've joined the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition as their Deputy Executive Director! I can't wait to energize the youth vote and fight hard to make sure that every voice has a say in our government!

now (re)watching. First watched the Graduate when I was finishing high school with my dad. I remember really liking it and hope it holds up better as an adult

Finished this month's climb to legend with Pirate Demon Hunter. Held a 65% win rate through the month and a 10 game win streak to cross the threshold. Also thought I entered kinda late in the month but had a better placing at 443 then I did last month despite getting in earlier

Cracking open a pack of Hummer’s Galore to enjoy with the boys after a tough week at the 9-5
I am setting up a hummingbird feeder and the nectar I got is called “Hummer’s Galore” and asks that I “sit back and enjoy the jewels of the sky” and that’s just wonderful

You had the opportunity to do this in November last year. All you had to do was vote for the laughing lady

Finished this month's climb at 516 with Big Shaman cause I didn't know what I wanted to play and needed 30 wins for my 1K Shaman portrait. List is very uninspired but why mess with a good thing. We went 53-26 for a win rate of 65% on our climb.

Finished my first book of the year, Chuck Klosterman’s “The Nineties”. I enjoyed it felt like there was a lot that the book glazed over or didn’t cover

I really liked 0079 on my rewatch. The pace was a lot quicker than I remembered but I feel like it did a better job showing he character growth across the entire cast then I remembered

Forgot to post it last night but I hit legend with Reno Shudderwock Shaman. I stalled out at D3 and fell down the ladder to D5 with Seedlock so had to break out old reliable for the final push. Deck was 35-28 (56% WR) from D5 to Legend.
