During Thursday's severe weather, Omaha's regularly scheduled weather balloon 7 p.m. weather balloon was not launched, just as tornadoes started to pop up in Nebraska.

And there you have it. At least a dozen tornadic supercells in an STP bullseye of 9, smack dab in the center of an SPC High Risk. We can stop complaining now, or rejoice, or just appreciate the NWS.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.
