I was 14 and remember my Dad's outrage. My Dad was a staunch Labor and Whitlam supporter. He was also generally a calm, collected individual. Not that day 50 years ago. That was the day my political education started.

It is, but it has obvious biases. Pulse strikes me as pro-stadium and pro Tasmania's current government.

Actually, I've never really liked Paul Kelly's music much. As for the worst ever song, for me, it's probably anything by Air Supply.

It's a terrible tragedy but how can the police say "the parents weren't in the immediate vicinity" yet also say "the supervision of the child is not in doubt." Makes no sense to me at all. A one year old should always be close to their parent/s. The poor young train driver. Horrific for him.
