Enjoyed the series #allherfault. Obviously, some divergence from the novel and Irish accents would have been terrific, but a very good adaptation nonetheless. Sarah Snook, excellent as always. The Australian actors did a great job with the American accents.

What a hypocrite David O'Byrne is. Talks about bullying from No Stadium proponents. The irony when it is the AFL and the Premier bullying the majority of Tasmanians who don't want it. #politas

Be cheaper and easier to make public transport free. No multi-million ticketing system required. #politas
What on earth makes the Tasmanian government think they can deliver a $1B plus stadium on time and on budget? The state's track record on infrastructure projects is diabolical. Look at the ferries fiasco. Can't even deliver a transport ticketing system without making a meal of it. #politas

Dr. Nick "Covid isn't airborne" Coatsworth was never in the running for this recognition. Australia was not well served by that man. He was so wrong about Covid. Over a year into the pandemic, he said there was "still debate about aerosol transmission." What a pillock.
Great news as Prof Lidia Morawska who has done fantastic work on particulate matter and raised awareness of the fact that covid 19 can be spread via airborne route has just won a prize in recognition of her achievements
Australian scientist who alerted world that Covid is airborne wins top science prize
Prof Lidia Morawska says recognition of her research comes at a fraught time – an ‘age of anti-science’

Could not agree more with Tassie Devil. The people of Tasmania rejected this BS stadium but still state & fed gov’s press on at behest of AFL, the networks, gambling lobby, alcohol lobby et al who will benefit

And let’s not forget the ridiculously stupid location for this monstrosity either
I wonder where the Tasmanian government is going to get the workers to build this shiny, new stadium? Will be competing with Queensland's Olympic construction and general construction nationwide. What a nightmare. Will be as farcical as the Spirits debacle. #politas
Construction workforce must double within two years to meet new demand
A record pipeline of infrastructure projects will require more workers and a more efficient building sector, according to the peak federal government agency.

The youngest of the Silent Generation are 80, so the Coalition can't rely on them for too much longer. Surprised that only 19% of Millennials are Greens supporters. I get that the oldest Millennials are middle-aged now but still I thought Greens support in that cohort would be higher. #auspol

I was 14 when the Whitlam government was dismissed from office. I remember how it outraged my father. He was a true believer, a Labor man through and through. It certainly started my interest in politics and led to my march down the left wing path. Sadly, Labor now is a shadow of its former self.
