Oh trust me when I say, the white leftists and liberals who protest vote absolutely know who will be “punished” the most which is why they feel so safe being open about their decision to do so. They know they will make it out unscathed, to hell with the rest of us.
The unifying factor in every story of a “disaffected” Dem voter who wanted to “teach the party a lesson” over “Gaza/labor/economy/reproduction/choose your issue” is they never ever understood just “who” gets punished when they withhold their votes.
