I’m slowly getting comfortable with the fact that I’m neurodivergent. I’ve struggled with it for way too long due to feeling pressured to hide or “mask” it as much as possible for most of my life- “austic masking” being another term I learned recently. It’s going up in any case!

One of my fondest memories of this past year is a close friend hugging me when I gave her a gift for her birthday. She does NOT like being touched, nor touching others - not even a handshake. She told me I was the first person she ever hugged. Still makes me smile.

Set my phone display to greyscale and it definitely makes a difference as my ADHD brain now turns to it much less for stimulation.
