I was trying to keep it positive so unfortunately I haven't been posting at all. I am a civil servant. I work hard. I serve my community. I also deal with the chaos and confusion caused by the attack on federal workers. It's exhausting. My health is suffering. But I'm not giving up. Fight the lies.

I am a civil servant. I work hard. I pay way too many taxes, in full, every year. I obey the law. I mind my business. I do good for others. Somehow, I am the target of my own government. This is the wrong America.
Last week @allinwithchris.bsky.social cited @propublica.org and @documented.net's reporting that revealed Russ Vought promised donors in a private speech to put civil servants "in trauma," a plan that's clearly already underway.

And let's not forget, Canada was the safe place many enslaved people ran to when America treated us worse than cattle.

I learned parenting by being a parent. I've learned marriage by being a wife. Experience counts. This is 1 reason the treatment of us feds bothers me. Decisions are coming from the ignorant. On a positive note, I see another learning experience coming out of this for me... at this big age, no less.
