Is Lavrov even alive still?

Mispronouncing Mamdani’s name every single time is just plain petty and pedestrian.
November 12, 2025 at 3:28 PM
I find it absolutely astounding and somewhat outrageous that Scott Gawollay hates Mamadani so much that he consistently mispronounces his name. Always. How appallingly petty.

If you have some time over the weekends and a mid-sized kitchen, making your own pasta is relatively straightforward. Buy Italian or French flour.

Obviously. We see countless examples for the same in Europe and elsewhere. I don’t think these people like Galloway and his millionaire friends have the faintest idea of how people in other social classes live.

Now you are my new favourite person. (Even though I am a social scientist, which is probably worse than a bad mathematician.)

Your buddy @profgalloway.com also cannot stop obsessing with how NY’s economy will absolutely collapse now because all these rich people will flee to Florida and Dubai, and then we will all die because of city-owned grocery stores.

Will anyone ever call out Ross Douthat for obnoxious cretin that he is? Obviously not.

I guess rich Muslims hit differently.

My guess is that it helps if you are not a 70+ millionaire with a history of corruption and lies.
November 5, 2025 at 11:26 PM
Good for you!

I don’t think European newspapers even understand what is going on, most have just been staring at speechless marvel for seven months, at least in Germany. The most you get is obsessive ritualised optimism and magical thinking.

You don't seem to get it: there are not supposed to be any elections in 2026.
November 2, 2025 at 11:32 AM
You should not be surprised that Mamdani does not want to go on your show. You have been sceptical, even outright hostile, never unbiased to him from the start, he could win absolutely nothing by talking to you as your audience also hates him anyway. You're a voice of the wealthy elites.

It is alarming but also funny to watch how the US economy has become basically a huge casino with a few very simple gambles.
October 29, 2025 at 7:48 PM
I understand. Thank you.
October 29, 2025 at 6:51 PM
Thank you, I see. So, in that case Palestine would be a multi-ethnic, multi-religion state for Muslims, Jews and Christians and whoever else chooses to live there except for Zionists? And Palestine would encompass all the geographies that are currently Israel?
October 29, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Funny that you would say that to a person you know nothing about. I suppose you don’t care either. Poor thing, you!
October 29, 2025 at 5:40 PM
I don’t think I am conflating anything. The original post talks about eliminating the state of Israel, advocates for ending the experiment that it has been. My question remains: what would then be the solution? Where should Jews go to live or die once Israel is no more?
October 29, 2025 at 12:38 PM
No, the original post says, the state of Israel as an experiment has failed and needs to be ended. But even if we go with your interpretation, could you explain what “removing the Zionists” actually means in practice? What would be the practical method or process of “removal”?
