I want this story to never die so that when my granddaughters ask me about our ancestral land and why we never visit there, I can show this to them.

But then absolutely nobody cares as long as half of the EU can arrange their dirty business with Russia and other autocracies through Hungary. The country has become one massive turnstile for grandiose organised crime, and large chunks of the EU benefit from it.

Look at the absolute ruin that the Hungarian economy has become. Astronomical prices, literal poverty in the countryside, a completely dysfunctional industry with oligarchs that are hopelessly unable to compete with anyone outside the country, and on and on.
