Somewhere in an alternate universe, Vice President Tim Walz is demonstrating how to prevent ice dams in your gutters and reminding us to use alternative salts on our sidewalks so our dogs paws don't get burnt.

But here in this universe, we get this...

Sunrise over the Front Range. A quick reminder that the world is, indeed beautiful.

2/2

I've never understood Condé Nast's decisions about this title. The year they killed the print edition they claimed a +1million circulation. Their current numbers were pretty darn good too.

The good news is that Rufus Wainwright is trending because he is still alive and did something subtle and clever and brave.

In other news, Kristi Noem is exact opposite of that.

Yes...and...

while I know where everything is now, presuming the data is accurate (Questionable), it also brought consolidation, loss of clout at retail, poor merchandising and increased costs.

As seen this evening while out walking the dog…

Goodnight…

I don’t like Denver as much as I loved Chicago, but at least my new city has a decent flag.

File under: People who really need to put their place in the universe into perspective...

BTW, this is the new logo they are melting down over.

Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that our future is going to look something like the corporate rim in @marthawells.com murderbot series?

Or worse (is that possible?), Max Barry's Jennifer Government?

I suppose I could mention that I learned to code on punch tape years before Excel was created?

And walked to school through blizzards?

And how to plug in a 25 pin dot-matrix printer (which was way more maintenance free that my current "Evil Sentient Printer")

Between 1994 -2010, my former client, Ziff-Davis was sold 4 times for a total of about $5.1billion.

In 2010 it was broken up and sold for parts.

Thank you, private equity!

A note for whoever thought it was a great idea to wrap appliances in impossible to remove shrink wrap…

May the rest of your days be difficult, disappointing and dreary.

Peach in the City approves of this. Why wouldn’t you want to wake up at 6:04 every.single.morning so you can devour your breakfast and then take a nice long walk, rain, shine, snow, pre-dawn darkness?

I mean, c’mon human! Get with the program!

Hey, on your way out, pick up a #magazine. Why retailers put them past the checkout and why suppliers allow this is a mystery.

This pretty little grey spider dropped in on us during our picnic at Sloan Lake in Denver this afternoon.

I was kind of happy to see her. The rest of the fam, maybe not so much.

So, I’ve now learned that Spring in Denver is like Spring in Chicago but with less oxygen and more dog poop.

On our #dogwalk this morning. Signs of spring here in the mountains. #bskydogs

Although most of mine had been repainted with paint markers, been to war a few times and, as a result of that war, encountered lighter fluid and flame...
