Today I drove 2 hours so my 14 year old could have a date with the girl he met on our summer holiday. I took the opportunity to visit Richard III, who was rescued from under a car park in 2012.

Happy saints day to St. Edmund, martyred on this day in 869. After being captured by the invading Vikings, he refused to renounce his Christian faith. He is thought to be buried (under a tennis court) in the grounds of St Edmundsbury #stedmundsburycathedral. (Half built Lego version pictured)
