It's really astounding how it comes together, but also the fact the comic doesn't just fall off a cliff right after. Sure, the recap issue is just Fine, but also it's nice they take a whole issue for it instead of it being the opening scene of another story.

Square definitely is, but I think Nintendo has pretty firmly refused it, and considering their current sales I think that has to send a message to other publishers.

Whatever pitch they give to the public about enabling creativity or productivity, the real pitch behind closed doors is "this will let you cut costs and eliminate jobs." Every time.

I mean, I can understand that depending on the cost and possible security risks, but I don't think he framed it as "that was 500K, goddamnit" or "you left a portable illusion machine where any old asshole can find it"

It’s also great use of thought balloons-we know this is a plan to restore Logan’s confidence instead of just Scott being a dick, and they sell the idea that Logan is still dangerous, even as Scott keeps him off-balance enough to avoid serious or fatal injury.
