Got home in time to see the seniors. No idea what to make of it; feel like it was never in doubt but a 1-0 game is always live, amazing how the worm has turned. Not confident for Tuesday, the suspensions are a disaster, and totally unnecessary for two different reasons.

Yes, very mysterious. It hasn’t been easy for them for a number of reasons but they’ve been competitive, and if it were sacking the coaches it would be harsh but typical football. People walking away at all levels screams some kind of crisis or coup.

It’s a very different job & I’m not sure what to make of that approach. It’s more a results than development business but it does seem something that other countries do. Time will be kinder to Page than our fans are ready to be - even his decline was 3rd in a group, like most of our history.

Would be fine with that but also say that in general we’re in a bit of a weird place with club managers; if they’re established on that scene they don’t seem to see Wales as an option until their club options are exhausted. It’ll be Matt Jones next won’t it? Also would be fine with that.

I think it's underestimated how much of a pain it is to actually keep a paper poppy in place, although that's no explanation as to why it is now reduced. I'd also say that there was a point in Wrexham history where the Gresford miners memorial got big which was much less the case when I first went.

Perhaps, he was getting shouted at as he left the field so he didn’t convince for even a second, Conan might have got away with it.
