On a day where Buckley coped pretty well with a much bigger crowd than they’re used to, only a couple of people had to slum it without access to the gantry…

Ongoing. In the near future. In due course. Someone’s got to get a grip of all this with the women’s team haven’t they, everything is last minute, brushed out of the way, a bit hush hush. Does the club want this team for doc content but people to not actually turn up? #wxmafc

My daughter was part of the signing choir performing there. After seeing Art D’Ecco from Victoria in town last night it’s been a Canada heavy weekend (one to honour my nan who lived in Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan). Back in time to see Ava bag #wxmafc

Wrexham is better when there’s an event on - there is this next week if it is your thing. The place feels like it’s in that kind of headspace, on an event day you can see its potential and when there’s not you could get downbeat.

Feel like I’ve seen the best of Wrexham today. Record fair, street market & most of all, Art D’Ecco all the way from Canada to play for us in the Parish. All things felt like they needed more people in a town/city moping for its 70s market town back which it can never get (middle pic in pub toilet)

Mondays are hectic but the drive from dropping off my daughter at her club to home & back to pick her up fits a 40ish minute album nicely. With new Stella on the way it didn’t hurt to go back to this one, from that time when it felt like all good bands were Welsh or Aussie so she couldn’t fail!

#wxmafc woof! Had to put a clothes peg on my nose for that first half. TNS snapping into everything and the score flatters Wrexham if anything. A straw to clutch at on the whistle but a performance like that again and there’s nothing here to get.

I was sorry to see Amber leave, nice to see her get fixed up quickly BUT…how has she managed to age two years in the time that four years have passed. We would definitely all like to know.

This game really was quite a trip. Almost as much of a trip as the one at the same venue three and a half months later where, after weeks of government dawdling, leagues opened up but then full lockdown two was announced at half time, effective as of midnight 🤣

I try my hardest not to do partisan football stuff anymore, I’m 46 and therefore nearly two decades past that being socially acceptable, but this gap between a Shrewsbury fan’s prediction and the @fourfourtwo.com one really made me laugh, possibly the widest of all time.
