Fuck that guy. These nominees are garbage.

I feel like I’m living in a nightmare. Decades of progress gone. The blood, sweat, and tears from those who fought for civil rights and equality are dissolved. This affects everyone. And now all federal grants and programs have been frozen. What are we even doing here?

Not only is it the plan but nobody is opposing it. We’re all here standing by in our day to day lives, powerless to do anything while our country is being destroyed from within the Oval Office. We don’t have much time left.

Freezing of all federal grants is unreal. This will devastate the arts. And denying people food stamps in winter is next level cruel. How inhumane. And yet Dems in Congress are silent.

I feel like Cinderella with imposter syndrome. That event could be a great way to network. But the price is out of reach for me. It’s sad that orgs like that are really just for wealthier people and not poor or working class people. Elitism is everywhere these days.

They’re busy writing social media posts and sending out donation requests. They appear to be just letting things slide.

@hrw.org Can you tell the good people what your organization is doing about this? Why aren’t people screaming about this more? Denigrating every undocumented migrant as a criminal and treating them this way is surely a human rights issue, yes?

I was teary eyed throughout it and crying at the end. It made me think a great deal about how people just want to be free and how for too many that’s a problem. Dan White got away with murder and his defense was such utter bullshit. RIP Harvey Milk and George Moscone.

I’m watching it now. It’s incredible how some things happening then are still happening. The loss of Harvey really shows here, he might have been Mayor or even possibly Senator instead of Feinstein.

Especially since he mandated that all the agencies stop reporting on their websites, social media, and the press. So the public will have no clue what’s happening with regard to infectious diseases. This is evil.
