Superman was a fun movie but flawed. Too many characters, and a pretty convoluted plot that went super weird in spots. However the acting was top notch and the spirit of kindness radiated.

Increasingly I’m convinced that Pump by Aerosmith is not only one of the best albums of the 80s, but that the production is equally as good as the songs. Seriously, listen to it again with a nice pair of headphones, it’s incredible!

Watched the Thunderbolts. It proves that if you center a movie around real stakes, emotional character development, and telling a great story the Marvel formula doesn’t matter. It doesn’t hurt if you have actors as strong as Florence Pugh, David Harbor, and Wyatt Russell too.

All the rancor I see around Trump’s decision to tariff Hollywood seems to imply his “plan”. It should be obvious to everyone, the man has no long term plan and he’s making shit up as he goes. He is a vengeful greedy man baby with impulse control issues. Long term strategy, not one of them.
