Well there’s the hype and the reality of it. Let’s see it actually make money. Right now the incentives are to blanket the economy and declare a winner between the current companies, not actually be a viable business that makes money.

How arrogant of people to think all cattle ranches voted for him. It’s even more arrogant to not try to join with those that did so we can all unite as Americans and not political parties. Arrogance like these comments is why Democrats lose and will keep doing so.

“Quit the platform” and “cancel your subscription” never works. Remember chick-fil-a? They’re doing just fine. We need to organize, not just complain on line. More no kings. Let’s all start going on strike. All of us.

Maybe people should stop using the same 6ish enshitified web apps *cough*Bluesky is one of them*cough* and actually go to normal web pages for a change. Everyone reacts to headlines only these days showing they’re part of the problem.

Google and Microsoft both have large scale competition to AWS, and there are smaller cloud services too out there. Some powering this platform you’re complaining on right now.

Or as us lamen call it “enshitification” of our operating system. I just ordered a new NVME drive that I’ll be installing Linux on to game, windows has gotten so awful it’s not worth using it anymore.

I think it depends on the candidate and their likelihood to win in the district they’re in. We agree Bernie is good, healthy, smart, and vital. Mills is the same in that way, and has a much greater chance of winning voters in Maine who elected her twice already vs some kid whose only plus is youth.
